We are required by the NJDEP to conduct minor source facility compliance monitoring inspections of:
  • Dry cleaners
  • Fuel oil tanks (greater than 10,000 and less than 40,000 gallons)
  • Gas stations
  • Gasoline bulk terminals
We also inspect boilers and generators in facilities such as:
  • Apartments
  • Government buildings
  • Offices
  • Schools
  • Small businesses
This department maintains an inventory of minor and other delegated source facilities and their inspection reports. These reports are used to support enforcement action if necessary by this department or the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection.
